Willkommen zur Übersicht über den  PS+-Extra Spielekatalog. Nachdem ich seit einigen Monaten schon in meinem Projekt regelmäßig Updates zum PS+-Extra-Spielekatalog poste, hat mich @AiMania gefragt, ob ich diese Service-Posts nicht in einem Thread zusammenfassen könnte. Wie kann ich diese Bitte abschlagen? Eben! Also legen wir mal los:

 

Seit Juni 2022 hat Sony als Antwort auf den XBOX-Gamepass die bis dato getrennten Dienste PS+ und PS Now zusammengefügt und daraus ein drei-stufiges Abo-Modell gebastelt. Die genauen Details sind hier

zusammengefasst.

 

PS+ Essential ist im Wesentlichen das alte PS+, PS+ Extra und Premium verfügen als wichtigstes Feature über den Zugang zu einem umfangreichen Spielekatalog. Beim Extra-Spielekatalog (der auch für Premium-Nutzer verfügbar ist) handelt es sich um Spiele aus der PS4 und PS5-Ära, im Klassikerkatalog von Premium finden sich hauptsächlich Spiele aus den vorangegangenen Konsolengenerationen. 

 

Aktueller Stand der Spiele in den Katalogen

 

Informationen über den aktuellen Stand der Spiele in den Katalogen sind nachfolgend zusammengefasst:

 

  • Alle Spiele, die aktuell im Extra- und Premium-Spielekatalog verfügbar sind, findet ihr auf der offiziellen Playstation-Seite (wenn man entsprechend nach unten scrollt).
  • Eine Liste mit verschiedenen Suchfunktionen gibt es unter anderem hier.
  • Auf reddit gibt es eine Google-Tabelle mit allen aktuellen Spielen des Extra-Spielekatalogs, die man nach Metacritc-Score sortieren kann, ihr findet sie hier.
  • Eine Liste aller im Spielekatalog enthaltener Spiele inklusive Trophäen-Aufteilung und geschätzter Spieldauer für Platin (praktisch für Spiele, die im nächsten Monat aus dem Katalog entfernt werden) findet ihr hier. Diese Liste ist allerdings nicht immer aktuell bzw. sind hier Spiele, die bereits wieder aus dem Katalog genommen wurden, noch in der Liste.

Die Extra- und Premium-Spielekataloge bekommen jeden Monat neue Spiele als Nachschub, die bisher meist am dritten Dienstag des Monats freigeschaltet und am Mittwoch davor angekündigt werden.

Allerdings werden auch jedes Monat Spiele entfernt. Für gewöhnlich erfolgt die Ankündigung darüber immer etwa einen Monat vor der Entfernung, meist am Tag der Freischaltung der Zugänge (also dem 3. Dienstag im Monat). Manchmal ist die Zeit bis zur Entfernung auch kürzer, vereinzelt wird bereits beim Hinzufügen ein "Ablaufdatum" bekannt gegeben (wie es zum Beispiel bei der ersten Aufnahme von RDR2 der Fall war).

 

Eine aktuelle Liste mit den Spielen, die in Kürze die Spielekataloge verlassen, kann auf der PS5 unter

 

PlayStation Plus | Extra -> Sammlungen -> Letzte Chance zum Spielen

 

eingesehen werden. Darüber hinaus gibt es im Playstation Store bei jedem Spiel, bei dem das Datum der Entfernung schon feststeht, einen Hinweis, wann das Angebot (in diesem Fall die Verfügbarkeit im Spielekatalog) endet.

Derjenige, der sich das System bei Sony ausgedacht hat, sollte an die Pforte gesetzt werden. Es ist aus meiner Sicht überhaupt nicht transparent, was da passiert. Entweder direkt mit Entfernungsdatum oder sie können alles über Essentials behalten. Unter Zeitdruck ein Game anzufangen ist so gar nicht meins.

Das ist aber beim Gamepass auch nicht viel anders. Es ist natürlich ärgerlich, aber im Schnitt sind die Spiele meist 6 Monate oder länger im Katalog, sodass man schon genügend Zeit haben sollte, seine Favoriten zu spielen. Außer es handelt sich um große Rollenspiele, da könnte es schon eng werden (ist mir bei Pathfinder z.B. passiert) .

Danke für die Info! Jetzt kann man sich auch auf gar nix mehr verlassen, was die Termine für die Ankündigungen angeht. Aber es ist, wie es ist. Ich werde die die Liste dann im Startpost aktualisieren, wenn die aktuellen Spiele in der Liste nächste Woche entfernt werden.
