LC-Gamerin Geschrieben 15. Januar 2012 Geschrieben 15. Januar 2012 The word-to-word translation is wrong, but with booktitles are mostly sense according to translated.
Kite Geschrieben 15. Januar 2012 Geschrieben 15. Januar 2012 hmmm i see a different between beautiful and brave
LC-Gamerin Geschrieben 16. Januar 2012 Geschrieben 16. Januar 2012 Did you read the book? The german title fits to german book, because the german thinking is different so the english/american. I would say that it is difficult to translate a booktitle, because the thinking (and the culture) ist different between different nations.

IIRC, the author named the book after an quote of a play by Shakespeare. When Shakespeare wrote said play, the word "brave" meant something similar to beautiful. So the german translation is actually correct
