Hab die Trophäe jetzt grad bekommen:

Hatte die selben Einstellungen wie Haywire. Hab aber auch wirklich lange dafür gebraucht, man muss einfach glück haben. Mit L2 laufen und dann kurz vor der richtungsänderung wahr es iwie einfacher, auf dem Boden habe ich dann einfach die ganze Zeit auf Schuss gedrückt. Frage mich wieso der da keinen Elfer gepfiffen hat, naja was solls :D:D:D

Habes eben mit nem selbsterstellten Spieler ( alles99) auch so geschafft ( wie in dem video ), platin ich komme..............

und nochmal 2 stunden für nix. der ball liegt scheinbar perfekt neben ihm aber er steht erst auf und schiesst dann hattet ihr das auch immer bis es dann geklkappt hat oder kam bei euch die animation öfter?:dozey:

habe auch 4 stunden rum probiert!

eine der lächerlichsten trophäen die man holen kann!

hat null mit skill oder biss zu tun! einfach frustrierend und nervig....

*Please be aware this achievement requires a fair bit of luck, patience and persistance.

It is achieveable and whilst there isn't really an "Achievement Guide" or step by step as such, we can only offer you tips & help and show you how we did it. I appreciate it is very difficult and frustrating, so I do advise regular breaks. If you get it accidentally or want to get it by playing then awesome for you but for those that want to give it a go here's some tips:

It doesn't matter too much on who you are but after watching a video by Forza Grifo I decided to follow suit and to be honest I felt comfortable with using Agüero against Newport County's keeper "Day".

Expanding on what kinoo1 did, we used 2 controllers for this and began to try it out; it eventually clicked that "SLIDERS" (various player & cpu settings that can be tweaked to suit your style and effect gameplay, go to settings > game settings, then press LT or RT to get to the - USER GAMEPLAY CUSTOMISATION.

I don't think the CPU GAMEPLAY CUSTOMISATION settings matter too much as you're playing against your 2nd controller.

It will also help to set player switching under the "gameplay assistance settings" to "manual" as to better help select who you want.

***Now a key aspect to better your chances is something that Forza Grifo mentioned; what you want to focus on is to gently press the tackle as to not launch the ball too far away which is problematic across all methods so far.

It clicked that there is a slider to control your power bar!

Turn this down and combined with the gentle tap of the tackle button followed by tapping shoot should pull off the desired animation that we're all looking for. I have personally hammered the shoot button before but it didn't work for various reasons but can still probably work too.

It almost felt like routine because after the tip about pressing tackle gently I was able to pull off the move with the follow up kick, unfortunately the keeper had begun to pick it up so the shot missed. This is when I changed the slider and to great effect (you can see the fail in the video).

***The sliders I used under User Gameplay Customisation that will make a difference:

- Shot error: 0

- Shot speed: 100 (but shouldn't matter too much)

- Goalkeeper Ability: 0 (as this counts towards the 2nd player, but not much of a noticeable difference if I'm honest but if it does help you, then that's what I used)

- *Power Bar: 0-10 (I had it at 10 but something low should suffice as this controls the gentleness of the tackle I believe)

- First Touch Control error: 0 (as a precaution)

With those settings you will want to:

- Position your player in line with the penalty spot.

- Position the goal keeper around the corner of the 6 yard box and aim to run towards the penalty spot; if the keeper has the ball in his hands, press Y to drop it. *Also please note that if you use RT to sprint with the keeper he may make a b-line to take it out for some reason unless that's my controller, just be careful as that doesn't help with the stress levels.

- Make sure the keeper is on the same side as your player.

- Drop the 2nd pad when you've started to make the run and switch to your main controller to run up and perform a tackle as the keeper starts to end his run and come to a stop (please take note and watch the video).

- As soon as the tackle animation is on the ground and contact with the ball start your shot. If it doesn't pull off, start again.

*I used 4-5-1 for Man City with Aguero up front. For Newport County I used a 3-4-3 position with Day as their keeper.

Edited notes:

*A key part of this is to try for a "hook slide tackle" as seen in the video, do not press RT as using sprint (RT) has a more aggressive tackle which will leave you sliding rather than a short hook tackle, also note that you should tackle late.

***Also I should have noted but I sat on the floor for this!

"I believe it's easier to control the Keeper by dropping the ball with Y and nudging the left stick forward and then quickly swap to your main controller to attempt the slide & shot." - n4k3dLEE

As Lee has kindly added, it's ideal that the keeper has picked the ball up'; run into position then as you move out towards the penalty spot (don't sprint), drop the ball with "Y" and you should be fine to then drop the controller and quickly pick up your first controller to move your player up to tackle. /edit

I hope that helps and I've included the slow down replays in the video so you can play/pause as you wish and analysise it all.

Honestly I wish you all the best of luck and it proves helpful to those of you who like me have been struggling to attain this achievement, pulling your hair out and generally wasting countless hours on it.
