Letztendlich bezieht sich das auf die Kontrollfunktion für die Einhaltung der Communityrichtlinien. Also, dass man jemanden melden kann und dessen Nachrichten oder Beleidigungen über Headset dann kontrolliert werden können. Dazu muss das natürlich gespeichert werden. Ebenso, dass Verstöße, wie anstößiges Videomaterial, wieder gelöscht werden kann.

Also eigentlich nichts außergewöhnliches. Ähnliche Klauseln sollten eigentlich alle Communityplattformen haben.
