Square Enix's highly anticipated and much awaited Final Fantasy game, Final Fantasy XV will launch in June 2016, according to the details shared by Amazon Japan. The retailer updated its listing with a new release date of June 1, 2016. This exact date is definitely a placeholder, but fans should take a note of June 2016 window considering the fact that Square Enix is considering Summer release.

Also, a big public event is planned for March 2016 by Square Enix and there is a possibility that the studio could announce a release date at the event. Furthermore, Square Enix have said for a long time that Final Fantasy XV will release simultaneously worldwide.

Last but not the least, the next installment in the Persona series, Persona 5 is also slated for Summer 2016 release in Japan, and Fall season in other region. The summer release window is June-September 2016.

In short all these hints states that Final Fantasy XV could be just over 6 months away from being in our hands, after a 10-year wait.
